Program: Cycling the Continental Divide by Aaron Teasdale

My show will spotlight the world-class mountain bike touring, or bikepacking, opportunities in the country between Missoula and Banff, Alberta. We’ll look at the northernmost stretches of the famed Great Divide Mountain Bike Route on it’s way from Seeley to Banff, get a glimpse into the self-supported Great Divide Mountain Bike Race, and look at other off-the-beaten-path opportunities for the fat tire adventurer, including ridgeline singletrack rides in the Whitefish Range and some of the area’s wildest bike-able backcountry in British Columbia’s Flathead Valley.

Aaron Teasdale is Deputy Editor for Adventure Cyclist magazine, an award-winning outdoor writer for various national magazines, and an avid photographer. His ongoing mountain-bike explorations of the wild country north of Missoula have been featured in many publications and have gotten him lost, really hungry, charged by wolves, and into some of the wildest country in North America.
